Virginia Health Improvement Initiative
The
Virginia Health Improvement Initiative was established to support creative
care delivery and population-based interventions that improve health
in a community. The goal of this initiative is to promote health and
prevent disease through the direct involvement of physicians, medical
students, and alliance members.
Through this grant program, the MSV Foundation has supported a wide variety of projects across the State. Projects have included everything from providing low-income patients in far-southwest Virginia with needed transportation to medical appointments, to providing refugees in central Virginia with a medical care facility that is sensitive to their cultural needs.
